Where and how can I charge my electric vehicle abroad?

You can easily charge your electric vehicle in various locations, including at home or at public charging stations.

At home: Charging your electric vehicle at home is as simple as plugging in your phone overnight. While the recharge speed may be slower, this option offers the convenience of always having your vehicle ready to go in the morning, without the need to go anywhere.

At public charging stations: Thanks to our partner SHELL, you can use the Shell Recharge card to access over 600,000 public charging stations across Europe. This card also provides several benefits:

  • Access to charging stations across Europe
  • Online tracking of your sessions and costs
  • Easy payment with VAT-inclusive invoices
  • Fast charging without needing an additional card
  • 24/7 assistance through the Shell Recharge app

In addition, you can view all available charging stations on the Shell Recharge app or on our website. Once activated, the Shell Recharge payment card can be used at all charging stations listed in the app, including those in other European countries.

💡 Note: If a charging station is not listed in the app or on the website, we cannot guarantee the ability to charge your electric vehicle using your Shell Recharge payment card. Some charging stations may only be accessible through the QR code function of the Shell Recharge app.
