Can I register an extra /additional driver?
Extra drivers are authorized to drive the vehicle. They need to be expressly mentioned/identified on the rental agreement.
👉 Additional drivers can be added at the time of booking or when picking up your vehicle at the rental location. Steps to add an additional driver during your booking are presented below
👉If you add an additional driver at the station when picking up your rental or during your rental period, the additional driver must be present with you at the station with their driver's license.
👉 There will be a small charge for each additional driver

There are several advantages to having an extra driver for your rental car. It significantly reduces the burden on the main driver, making the journey more enjoyable.
Moreover, if you're embarking on a long journey, having additional drivers means fewer stops, allowing you to reach your destination twice as quickly. The number of additional drivers permitted depends on the vehicle's capacity. If your car can accommodate five people, you can have up to five drivers.
Step to add additionnal driver during your booking on the europcar.com:
- On the 3rd step of the booking funnel, you arrive on "Protection and extras", you can scroll down and find the "Additional driver" extra to add in your booking.

2. Add your personal data, name or email address and your booking number (you can find it in your confirmation email received just after your booking)
